Mohamed Salah Nears New Contract with Liverpool

Liverpool’s star forward, Mohamed Salah, is close to signing a two-year contract extension with the club. Despite earlier reports of a potential salary reduction, Salah, 32, is expected to continue his tenure without such cuts. This season, he has contributed significantly with 32 goals and 22 assists. Negotiations have been led by Liverpool’s sporting director Richard Hughes and Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa. Captain Virgil van Dijk is also progressing in his contract talks with the club.
